Historic university building with a contemporary twist set in the heart of the Oxfordshire Countryside – just 10 minutes from the city centre
A Unique Venue
Foxcombe Hall is a characterful university building that is truly unique to Oxford. With a rich history and a mix of gothic and contemporary architecture it is set amongst acres of protected woodland making it the perfect setting for ecclectic garden party weddings against a wild and splendid backdrop.
We like to do things differently, using the building as a blank canvas upon which to design each wedding individually alongside our dedicated wedding planners and designers.
The main areas include The Great Hall, an ornate dining hall with stained glass windows and a full length mezzaine; The Atrium, a space flooded with natural light from a glass ceiling, elegantly blending gothic and contemporary architecture; and the grounds, which comprise of manicured lawns alongside both Italian and crafts gardens, as well an expansive woodland and private lake.
These spaces create a versatile setting allowing both indoor and outdoor ceremonies and dining.
